Heritage - Online For You
Being cooped up doesn't mean that there is no access to things that can help us learn, be entertained, or get the help we may need. Heritage Public Library is putting together a lot of online resources to get you going on the internet.
Keep checking our What's New blog page and our Digital Resources page as we continue to expand our online resources to serve you better.

New Items & Staff Picks
Click an image to see descriptions of the latest bestsellers and other selections. While you can't check out a book right now, you can use the Libby app to read books on a digital device. Prefer to read an actual book? You can place a hold and once we are back in full service, you'll be queued to receive it when available.
Community Room
NOTE: The library is closed until further notice. No bookings are available at this time.
We have a large room available for rental to groups in the community. The room has tables and seating that can be arranged to suit your needs.
In addition, it features a full kitchen that makes entertaining easier. Rental costs only $50 plus a $50 security deposit. A signed contract is required (see link below to download). ![]()
|
Requests to hold the room are made through our website (see the button below). To guarantee the room is yours, you will need to bring in both fees to the library plus a signed copy of your rental agreement within one week of your initial request*. Once those items are received and your application is reviewed and approved, your event will then be listed on our calendar.
*In the event that two or more parties want to rent the room at the same time, the community room is rented on a first come, first served basis based on submission of the signed contract plus payment in full of both the security deposit and rental fee.
2020 Annual Fundraiser - "Get Off the Floor" Campaign
Our annual fundraiser will be officially kicking off in June but you can help us get a head start and help the library save money. We count on the generous donations of our patrons and are always looking for ways to best stretch out the funds we collect. This year, for the first time, we can accept donations securely through our website, helping to cut down on the cost of the yearly mailing. Check out some of what we're raising money for this year on our Donations & Gifts page.
HPL Is Giving Back
Did you know that when we make room for newer, more desirable books on our shelves by weeding our collection, the old books generate funding for the library AND help support literacy around the world?
Our partners at Better World Books find new homes for non-circulating books plus help us keep our collection fresh. It's a win-win for everyone! We also work to get our used books into the hands of local resources. We've recently donated to day care centers, elementary schools, and Head Start programs in our county. |
